Just renewed this account again, mostly for continuity; I'm currently publishing/writing in a bunch of other places...

• icecream.thok.org/ A blog about ice cream shops in Massachusetts.  Currently at 50 reviews (and mostly on hold for the winter - while New England does have a lot of winter ice cream, most places close for the season, or at least for February, especially if they only have outdoor walk-up serving windows.) My official list of ice cream places has over 500 entries, so there's plenty of work to do!
• thok.site/ One of my previous "blogging problems" was that every new attempt led to a lot of writing about blogging tech and concepts and not actually writing about the subject. I finally fixed this by setting aside one blog ( thok.site itself ) as the only place for that kind of thing, and that actually worked out pretty well.
• rule3.org is the "technical adventure storytelling", the distillation of a quarter century of engineering startups - not really of general interest, but if you find yourself having to explain code review, release engineering, or computational numerology (as a debugging technique) you might find this useful.

And for social media, I'm on MIT Mastodon mastodon.mit.edu/@eichin and BlueSky bsky.app/profile/eichin.bsky.social on a daily (and sometimes, to my detriment, hourly) basis.
